DEBRA
DENKER is a writer, photographer, film-maker and energy healer.
Published in National Geographic and other publications,
she is the author of Sisters on the Bridge of Fire: One Woman's
Journeys in Afghanistan, India and Pakistan, and has had a
documentary film shown on TV and in film festivals. She also has
taught healing internationally and is a Certified Healing Touch
Practitioner.
PHILLIP
GIBBS has worked in international development for over twenty
years with various United Nations agencies in Somalia, Mozambique,
Croatia, Nepal and Uganda, and with national agencies in the U.S.
and Canada. His primary areas of expertise are qualitative data
gathering, program design and evaluation, organizational development
and conflict resolution.
CRICKET
HOOPER JIRANEK is Executive Vice-President Sales at CTM Brochure
Display, Inc., the largest brochure distribution company on the
East Coast, and also is the Managing Partner of CTM Productions,
which produces Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. In addition, as
a board member of Perception, she oversees The Rwanda Project
which was founded by her late husband David Jiranek.
TARA
LUMPKIN, PhD, is an anthropologist who has worked in humanitarian
aid and environmental projects for over fifteen years in Latin
America, Africa and Asia. In addition, she treats individuals
suffering from trauma in the U.S. and abroad. And she has published
poetry, fiction and nonfiction, as well as winning more than half
a dozen writing prizes, fellowships and grants.
